St. Andrew's, Wormingford is a Community Church - we are part of the local community and have been for 800 years! It is a joy to work with residents and other organisations to promote village life. Here are some of those organisations, with links to various websites:

WORMINGFORD PARISH COUNCIL
Parish Council meetings usually take place on the second Thursday of the month (except August and December) and commence at 7.00pm inWormingford Village Hall. However, sometimes times and dates and venues may vary so do check the website for more details:

WORMINGFORD COMMUNITY EDUCATION CENTRE
Located at the former Village School, WCEC is home to a number of groups and events. Every Monday morning from 9:30am to 11:30am there's Coffee and Cake, when the Centre is open to all the community for a chat over refreshments; also on Monday mornings there's Stay & Play for under 5's and their parents/carers; there's Abberton Rural Training, Essex Rural Skills Project, handbell ringers, and a number of other groups. Occasionally there are Friday Night Talks on a variety of educational subjects. For details of what's, on see the website:

WORMINGFORD VILLAGE HALL
Our Village Hall, managed by Wormingford Recreation Trust, is the perfect venue for functions and meetings. It is popular for wedding receptions, children's parties, dances (great acoustics!), bowls and badminton, and can seat 120 people. There is ample parking and good disabled access.

WORMINGFORD WANDERERS FOOTBALL CLUB
'The Worms' are based at the Playing Fields, Robletts Way, CO6 3AX, and they have three teams - Staurday First (Essex & Suffolk Border League Premier Division) Saturday Reserves (Division Two) and Sunday Team (Colchester & Essex Sunday League). ESSEX & SUFFOLK GLIDING CLUB
East Anglia's Premier Gliding Centre is based at Wormingford Airfield, and anyone is welcome to visit. Take a "Trial Lesson" for only £75 with 20 minutes soaring, or a "Gliding Experience" flight for just £45. There's also a "Fixed Price to Solo Scheme" and Day Courses for £150.
