LH please note……

   There will be no 11:00 am service on December 5th but the 6:30 pm service will be a Benefice Advent Carol Service

 

  

 

Confirmation Group……

 

   Confirmation & Brush up your Faith Group

will meet for ½ hour on each of 6th & 13th December

and continue on Mondays after the New Year

finishing just before the Lent Groups start

 

Bishop Christopher

will Confirm candidates on 20th March, 2011

 

There is no upper age limit for confirmation candidates

 

The meetings will be held at the Vicarage & start at 7:00 pm

 

  

 

WF Tree ……

 

   A flowering cherry tree

has been presented to WF churchyard

by Mrs Dorothea Boggis-Rolfe and planted

to replace the cherry tree which fell down sometime ago

we will ask for God’s blessing on this tree

after the Family Service today

 

  

 

For your Diaries……

 

   Lent Group will meet on Mondays in Lent

and start on 21st March 2011

 

As in previous years, we will use a York course

but this one is devised by our new Bishop, Stephen

 

Meetings will be held at the Vicarage and start at 7:30 pm
