CIRCULATING
CHRISTMAS CRIB
It is traditional for a small crib to be circulated among the children of the village during Advent as Wormingford have been doing for some years
The crib includes figures representing Jesus, Mary and Joseph, the three wise men, two shepherds and lots and lots of lambs.
The crib stays in each house for one night and is passed on to the next house the next day but each child retains one of the many lambs to bring to the CRIB SERVICE at St John’s Church at 3:30 pm on CHRISTMAS EVE or St Andrew’s Church at 6:30 pm on CHRISTMAS EVE.
If you would like to have the Wormingford Crib, please complete the form below and return it to St Andrew’s Church (pop it in the wall safe by the door) or St Andrew’s School or email it to pam.jack@tiscali.co.uk before the end of November so that we can work out a route for the crib. If you would like to have the Mount Bures crib, please complete the form below and return it to the Vicar (vicar@mountbures.com) or John Cowlin or pop it in the wall safe in the Church (next to the door). Both safes are empltied daily.
